Misrepresentation about Japanese apology for WWII.

Overall the analysis in this interview was informative. However there was one statement that was factually incorrect, or rather should have been characterized as "subject to interpretation."
At around 3:50 in this video, Mr Lincot makes a sweeping generalization regarding Japanese apology and post-war Sino-Japanese relation. Japan has made apologies for its WWII policies and crimes on several official occasions. Whether such apologies are considered adequate or acceptable by receiving party is a separate matter. But it cannot be stated flat out that there has not been any effort. It is also irresponsible to perpetuate such misconceptions.
