Music sharing service SoundCloud has become a global success, and photo discovery app EyeEm is giving Instagram a run for its money. Through the lens of two very different tech festivals - one grass-roots, one pure geek - we ask whether Berlin is the Silicon Valley of Europe, and indeed whether it should want to be.

The world's highest resolution display: Nexus 10

On this week's show we focus on two giants: Chinese search engine Baidu and American multinational corporation Google. Baidu is investing 1.2 billion euros in "cloud computing" and has already begun to eye international markets such as Japan, Southeast Asia and Brazil.
