Spain's civil disobedience under government austerity

Anti-austerity protests in Spain have tipped increasingly towards lawlessness and civil disobedience, particularly in Andalucia, where upto a third of the work force is unemployed. Last month the press dubbed a local mayor "Spain's Robin Hood" after members of his union carried out raids on supermarkets to steal food for the poor. The mayor, Juan Manuel Sanchez Gordillo, says the government should save poor people before it saves the banks.
