Dark is beautiful

Paris’s old train station turned museum is staging an exhibition called "The Angel of the Odd: Dark Romanticism from Goya to Max Ernst". It traces back the roots of symbolism and surrealism to the Romantics. With films noirs, such as Murnau’s Nosferatu or Hitchcock’s Rebecca, but also furniture, photography and painting, of course, the show spans from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century.

Paris Fashion Week

After New York, London and Milan, the fashion circus finally made it to Paris for the ready to wear shows for the next fall/winter season. During nine days and more that 200 presentations the fashion world looked into its crystal ball to predict the future of fashion. Also there were a number of new designers at old house debuted this season.And some long time favorites proved why they continue to stand the test of time.
