The French press hails a better performance for Paris in world city rankings. The French capital was listed as eighth last year. It is now ranked fourth, behind New York, London and Toronto. Among the various categories, Paris - it seems - is best for quality of life. Since the weekend, the French press has focused on this man whose wife was stopped by police last week for driving while wearing a full Muslim veil. It later emerged that he may have multiple wives.
