Paris is top for quality of life

The French press hails a better performance for Paris in world city rankings. The French capital was listed as eighth last year. It is now ranked fourth, behind New York, London and Toronto. Among the various categories, Paris - it seems - is best for quality of life. Pigs attack fast-food restaurant in protest against halal menu!

In a suburb of Lyon yesterday, 40 right-wing demonstrators broke into a “Quick” fast-food restaurant wearing pig masks to protest against the chain serving halal burgers. TUESDAY, 9th MARCH, 2010
