Paris is top for quality of life

The French press hails a better performance for Paris in world city rankings. The French capital was listed as eighth last year. It is now ranked fourth, behind New York, London and Toronto. Among the various categories, Paris - it seems - is best for quality of life. That, and a look at politics/crime/Syria, makes up the focus for this review of the French papers this Friday 12th October, 2012.
