Rebel groups unite to push Syrian Army out of Aleppo
Our reporters have been following a band of rebel fighters in Aleppo. The district of Salaheddine is symbolic for the rebellion, but today it lies in ruins. Fighting on the front line has continued, despite a ceasefire that was announced for the Muslim festival of Eid el Adha. As our correspondents found out, the rebels don’t have the equipment to match President Bachar al Assad’s army. Yet they’re managing to hold their positions and even gain ground, piece by piece.
