France: evaluating the effects of the anti-piracy law
Two years ago France introduced its anti-digital piracy legislation, the HADOPI law, and the French governmental copyright protection body installed to administer the controversial law continues to staunchly defend it; starting with the graduated response three strikes system designed to deter web users. The body denies being a repressive authority though.
