A professional 'cuddler' for Obama-Romney?
Commentators are looking beyond the US election on Tuesday to the next big thing in American politics: the fiscal cliff. We look, too, at the worst political TV ads of the campaign and at a solution for Romney and Obama worn off their feet: a professional cuddler they can snuggle up to. That's the focus for this look at the world press Monday 5th November, 2012.
The Daily Telegraph in Sydney says “Romney’s campaign is now a car crash”. He is under attack for falsely claiming US car jobs are heading for China. And this, the paper says, has become the defining story of the final days of the campaign.
A cartoon in the China Daily is arguing there is a car crash to come, in the form of a presidential limousine falling off America's fiscal cliff.
USA Today's international edition looks at the five worst political ads in this campaign, directing harsh criticism at Obama for being divisive.
And The Daily Mail looks at a professional 'cuddler', 29 year-old Jackie Samuel in Rochester, New York who could give the two tired candidates a therapeutic break from the 24/7 campaigning.
By the way, don't miss our web coverage of the US White House Race, there is a Tweetometer showing the huge number of tweets each candidate is getting in this Twitter election.
