Meanwhile, as its population gets richer, their demands get louder: more and more Chinese people want an accountable and transparent government. Given the rapprochement between Libya’s firebrand leader and the west in recent years, is it now time for the international community to intervene and protect the Libyan people from Gadhafi’s wrath?

Dominique Strauss-Kahn stole the show at the G20 in Paris. He stopped short of declaring his intentions to run in the 2012 presidential elections but dropped some major hints.
