"Marriage for all." This is the way the Socialist government has described a bill presented to the cabinet this week to legalize same-sex marriage and adoption for gay couples. The proposal has been met with a firestorm from the Catholic Church and the conservatives, with the opposition questioning the timeliness of such a move in the midst of a major economic downturn.
