Gérard Depardieu: one of many 'tax exiles'

IN THE FRENCH PAPERS - 17/12/12: French actor Gérard Depardieu is continuing to get a lot of attention in the French press today, but not because of his acting! Yesterday he wrote an open letter to the French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault after he called Depardieu "pathetic" for moving to Belgium to avoid paying high taxes in France. Depardieu says he feels insulted and will give up his French nationality.
