More polio aid workers shot dead by the Taliban

Another three health workers have been shot dead in Pakistan, bringing the total number killed this week to nine. Militants are targeting volunteers with the UN's polio vaccination campaign, believing it's un-Islamic and part of a Western bid to weaken Muslims. Unicef and the World Health Organisation have decided to temporarily suspend the programme.
