In recent days, the two leaders of Sudan and South Sudan have finally agreed to set up a demilitarized zone along their disputed border. But what are the prospects of peace between these two nations? Michel Raimbaud, a former French ambassador to Sudan who has just published a history of the country, tells Annette Young why he is so pessimistic about any agreement.
