The end of a Virgin presence in France?
The French chain of Virgin Megastores has declared itself bankrupt, putting 35 stores and 1,000 jobs at threat. On Wednesday, employees from across France gathered at the flagship store on Paris's Champs Elysées, protesting against Virgin France's parent company, Butler Capital Partners. Staff say they've been failed by the chain's owners and hope to find a buyer to take over the business.
