Politically incorrect and highly entertaining
Two politically incorrect comedies use unfortunate historical facts as springboards for effective entertainment. Terrific performances skewer the legacy of slavery in the American South in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" and bittersweet Serbian comedy "The Parade" takes a raunchy look at homophobia in the Balkans.
Then, French actress Helene Fillieres makes her directing debut with the icy cool S & M romance "Tied." Finally, from Jan 17 - Feb 17, internet users worldwide may watch recent French films subtitled in 12 languages free of charge or for a nominal fee during the third edition of "MyFrenchFilmFestival.com".
