It was a gamble that did not pay off as well as it could have. After calling early elections, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netahyahu has seen his Likud-Beitenu coalition lose 11 seats. Meanwhile, a new party, Yesh Atid, led by TV personality Yair Lapid came a surprise second. While Netanyahu is expected to be named Prime Minister once again, he'll have to woo other parties to form a coalition big enough to gain a majority - and Yesh Atid will be at the top of his list.
