The whiff of political scandal is in the air. After Jérôme Cahuzac, the outgoing budget minister, admitted having undeclared bank accounts in Switzerland and Singapore, controversy is brewing. His fellow Socialists, starting with President François Hollande, are calling him a liar and a traitor for not telling the truth earlier. The opposition believes the president knew much more, and much earlier than he claims.
