Protesters puckered up in Turkey’s capital Ankara over the weekend as part of a “kissing demonstration" in response to a public announcement urging commuters at the city’s Kurtuluş metro station to behave with moral propriety.

Ankara locals managed to take their mass kissing demonstrations to the city’s Kurtuluş subway station as planned despite heavy security measures and opposing groups that tried to intervene at the site.
