Spanish villages find creative solutions to survive crisis
Imagine if where you lived, everyone decided to paint it blue - smurf blue, in fact. It might sound ridiculous, but it's what the residents have been driven to do in one Spanish village to help stave off the economic crisis. All over Spain, villages and small towns are doing extraordinary things to escape the financial meltdown. In some areas, entire hamlets are up for sale.
