Mali vote set for second round

Mali is set for a run-off presidential vote in a little over a week, as official results released Friday gave no single candidate an outright majority. Also, in Zimbabwe, President Mugabe's party's routed the competition in the parliamentary vote – not a good sign for those hoping for a change at the top from presidential elections that were also held Wednesday. And Tunisia's military launches an assault on jihadist militants hiding in the mountainous regions on the border with Algeria.
