A victory for Assad, a loss for Obama?

Many critics say the US-Russia plan to secure Syria's chemical arsenal unfairly lets Bashar al-Assad off the hook. On the ground there are thought to be some 100,000 rebels fighting the regime, and about half are thought to align themselves with jihadists or hardline Islamists. Meanwhile, a female vigilante in Mexico is thought to be responsible for rape-revenge killings. Finally, South Korea's dangerous and rampant growth of fried chicken restaurants could hurt its economy.
