Germans believe euro crisis could worsen - right before elections

Germany is known to be the economic powerhouse of Europe, but that doesn't mean that its own economy is performing swimmingly. In recent years the gap between rich and poor has widened and 8 million Germans have insecure employment. On top of this anxiety there is more concern about the euro crisis, with the majority of the population believing that the worst is yet to come. But will these fears be enough to damage Angela Merkel's re-election campaign this weekend?
