French unemployment drops for first time in more than two years

There were 50,000 fewer jobseekers in France in August. That’s the first monthly fall since April 2011, but part of it could be down to a failure by many jobseekers to update their details with the government’s employment bureau. Meanwhile, in California, future space travellers get the chance to inspect the planes that will carry them on a sub-orbital space flight.
