Permission to speak?

French government ministers may have to ask permission from their boss before they talk to the press, Le Figaro reports, as the administration seeks to better coordinate its communication strategy. And Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's enthusiastic use of Twitter prompts editorialists to suggest the virtual world of geopolitics could pre-empt real, old-fashioned international diplomacy.
