Jean-Pierre Jeunet : A Very Long Cinematic Engagement

He brought us the marvel that is ‘Amelie’ - one of the biggest grossing French movies ever. He followed Ridley Scott, James Cameron and David Fincher when he made the fourth film in the ‘Alien’ franchise. Fifteen years after his last English-speaking movie, French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet brings us ‘The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet.’ He talks to Eve Jackson about his love/hate relationship with America, his vision of Paris and how reality bores him.
