Apple reports iPhone sales up but full-year profits down

Apple sold 26% more iPhones in the latest quarter, but full-year profits were down. That’s the first decline in over a decade and comes as figures show Samsung has increased its lead over its rival in terms of smartphone sales. Meanwhile, an event known as the Islamic Davos opens in London, with the UK aiming to position itself as the western centre for Islamic finance.
