Farmers protest by blocking roads into Paris

French farmers disrupted traffic on Thursday as they brought a protest over changes to the Common Agricultural Policy and planned tax rises to Paris. The protests blocked many roads into the capital. One fireman died in a crash at the scene of one of the protests, prompting the Transport Minister to call for the blockage to be suspended.
