Romania in the EU: A work in progress?

Six years after joining the EU, Romania remains the bloc's second-poorest member. Our reporters travel the country to find out why only 15% of European funds earmarked for Roma integration projects have been used by the authorities. We also visit Targoviste, where Romania's brutal dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife were executed in 1989, and we meet expropriated homeowners who are fighting legal battles to recover properties seized decades ago by the Communist regime.

Presenter: Christophe Robeet
Editor in chief: Caroline de Camaret
Producers: Alix Le Bourdon
Reporters: Julie Dungelhoeff and Alix Le Bourdon
Images: Stéphane Bodenne and Julie Dungelhoeff
Editing: Chloé Poline, Audrey Le Narvor and Max Paquereau
