Sarkozy and Hollande flying separately to South Africa

The French President and his predecessor are to fly separately to Nelson Mandela's memorial service in South Africa. The Elysée invited Nicolas Sarkozy to join François Hollande in representing the French state, but it seems the two men are less than comfortable about travelling together. Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he will not travel to Johannesburg, as a cost-cutting measure. Not everyone is convinced that this is the real reason.
