Latest update : 2013-12-13

Germany: Is a grand coalition good for Europe?

Will the reintroduction of a minimum wage in Germany level the playing field in Europe? As leaders in Berlin work to ratify a grand coalition agreement, France 24 went to Lower Saxony to discover a meat industry that’s undercutting competition in places like France and Belgium with take-home wages of under 500 euros a month.

Produced and prepared by Anelise Borges, Cecile Khindria, and Christopher Davis.
