Raja Casablanca continued its unlikely run through the Club World Cup when it upset Atletico Mineiro from Brazil, 3-1, in Marrakech on Wednesday night.
The tournament is for the champions of the six continents, but organisers added a seventh team from the host country, Morocco. Raja Casablanca was chosen.
On Wednesday, in front of a partisan crowd of 40,000, Raja took the lead after 51 minutes with a goal by Mouhcine Iajour.
Ronaldinho, who was trying to become the first player to take home the World Cup, the European Champions League and the Copa Libertadores, levelled 12 minutes later. But with eight minutes left, Iajour tumbled after a tentative challenge by Rever and won a penalty. Mohsine Moutouali converted and added the third in injury time on a long breakaway.
Raja will face Bayern Munich in the final.
