African asylum seekers continue Tel Aviv protests

Peace talks between South Sudanese rebels and a government delegation continue in the Ethiopian capital, but they are stumbling over the release of political detainees. Also, thousands of African asylum seekers have been demonstrating in Tel Aviv, for a third day of protests against Israeli immigration policies. They are angered by the detention of illegal immigrants without trial. And Orthodox Christians worldwide celebrate Christmas Day, reflecting the Julian calendar.
