South Sudan signs ceasefire deal with rebels

After weeks of little progress, South Sudan's government and rebels loyal to the former vice president finally agree to a truce in fighting. The deal is struck in Addis Ababa and is due to see an end to fighting within 24 hours. Also, Bangui's former mayor takes her oath as interim president. Catherine Samba Panza calls for warring militia to put down their weapons. And "bosses spend more on their dogs" - passionate words from union bosses in South Africa as platinum miners go on a wage strike.
