François meets François

FRENCH PRESS – Fri. 24/01/14: François Hollande is meeting Pope Francis in the Vatican today. La Croix says that Catholics will be watching closely. According to Libération, the two François don’t see eye to eye on many social issues (gay marriage, abortion, euthanasia) and will probably stick to talking about diplomacy and the economy. Le Figaro says Hollande is hoping to surf on Pope Francis’s popularity to draw support from French Catholics.
