On the occasion of François Hollande’s state visit to Turkey on 27th and 28th of January - the first by a French president since 1992 – France 24 will relocate its three daily debate shows, in French, English and Arabic, to Istanbul.

On the occasion of François Hollande’s state visit to Turkey on 27th and 28th of January - the first by a French president since 1992 – France 24 will relocate its three daily debate shows, in French, English and Arabic, to Istanbul.

To understand the country and the issues surrounding the visit (Turkey’s political crisis, EU accession and regional stability) in greater depth, François Picard (in English) [@FrancoisF24] , Vanessa Burggraf (in French)[@VanessaBurggraf], and Taoufik Mjaied (in Arabic) [@taoufikmjaied] will spend an hour talking to the country’s policymakers, journalists and experts to unravel the situation and confront their viewpoints.

The programmes will be produced in collaboration with Hürriyet Daily News, France 24’s editorial partner in Turkey and feature two of its journalists in the debates.

Internet and TV viewers can send their questions and comment on the show live via social networks in three languages, using the hashtags / #F24Debate / #DébatF24 / #نقاش24.

In Turkey, France 24 is available on the major cable and satellite offers, reaching 7.8 million homes, or. 92% of all digital TV homes. The channel is available in French and English on D-SMART (channels 306 and 311) and TURKSAT (channels 75 and 74), and in English on DIGITURK (channel 146).
