Dallas Buyers Club: Fighting AIDS, fighting the system

Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto are tipped for Oscar glory for their depictions of AIDS sufferers in "Dallas Buyers Club". France 24 speaks to director Jean-Marc Vallée about the astounding physical transformation that McConaughey undertook for the role - losing 40 pounds in weight.

Also on our special cinema show with France 24 film critic Lisa Nesselson, we find out how Chris Pine is getting on as the new face of Tom Clancy’s CIA man in "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit". Chris Pine and director Kenneth Branagh tell us what drew them to the movie.

Meanwhile, French animators draw our attention with their latest cartoon marvel: family feature "Minuscule", featuring armies of charming garden ants. Lisa tells us whether the film lives up to its comparisons to "Star Wars", "Indiana Jones", and even "Lord of the Rings".
