ENCORE!

How do artists and writers see the world? We take you to the crossroads where culture meets the news and engages with what's happening in our lives today. From Monday to Friday at 12.15 pm Paris time.

'The Ancient Mariner' docks in Paris

Performer and director Fiona Shaw joins us to talk about her production of Samuel Coleridge’s "Rime of the Ancient Mariner". With the help of director Phyllida Lloyd and dancer Daniel Hay-Gordon, Shaw breaths life into the 200 year-old poem at Paris’s Bouffes du Nord Theatre.

We also take a look at the digital trickery that's bringing old masters to life on the internet - it’s all thanks to an Italian art history enthusiast who’s created an animated online gallery.

Meanwhile, our correspondents in London give us an insight into the series that’s making waves on both sides of the Channel. "The Tunnel" is a Franco-British police detective drama that’s broadcast in both countries.
