Is Turkey rediscovering its love affair with Europe? Turkish leaders are seeking to revive their country's EU bid after a series of foreign policy setbacks have left the country increasingly isolated in Europe and the Middle East. But Prime Minister Erdogan recently shocked Europe by cracking down on peaceful protesters as well as police and judges who tried to investigate high-level corruption. So is Turkey euro-compatible? Will this large nation of 72 million people ever join the EU?
