Picasso, Francis Bacon and more unravel the art of tapestry

On today’s show we check out wall-to-wall art in Paris. Carpets, rugs and tapestries are looming large at an exhibition dedicated to all things woven, and we’re taking you on a guided tour.

Also on the show: French photographer and street artist J.R. presents his vision of dance at the New York City Ballet, with a monumental photomontage of more than 80 dancers in perfect still motion.

We also find out about the taboo-tackling Egyptian film that’s the country’s first ever to feature a gay lead character.

And as New York fashion week starts, designer Kenneth Cole tells us why he thinks the fashion world should also put its mind to the charitable cause of AIDS and HIV research.
