Middle East: Unstoppable Spiral?

It's being treated as a suspected revenge killing. A Palestinian boy has been abducted in east Jerusalem and murdered. This comes just hours after the funeral of three Jewish teenagers abducted nearly three weeks ago in the West Bank, their murder blamed by Israel on Hamas. Similar impasses in the past have been followed by full-scale uprisings. What is the appetite like for a peace deal?
