Irakli Gharibashvili, Georgian prime minister

Appointed as Georgian premier three months ago at the age of 31, Irakli Gharibashvili has pledged to normalise relations with Russia while signing a far-reaching association agreement with the EU. It is likely to be a difficult balancing act for this small Caucasus nation still haunted by memories of the 2008 war with Moscow, which saw Georgia lose 20% of its territory.
