Credit Suisse accused of helping US tax evasion

A US congressional committee inquiry has accused Credit Suisse of helping as many as 19,000 customers avoid paying tax in the United States. The report said that bank staff had flaunted visa rules and used secret meetings to recruit new clients for offshore accounts.
