Pierre Vimont, Executive Secretary-General of the European External Action Service

Pierre Vimont is the Executive Secretary-General of the European External Action Service. The EU diplomatic corps was created in December 2009 under the Lisbon Treaty and is headed by Catherine Ashton. Its aim is to give Europe a more coherent foreign policy. Pierre Vimont gives us his take on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
