Zombie Zombie’s cinematic sound

They’re known for their fright-fest of slasher flick keys, alien electronics and cinematic sound. So perhaps it’s not surprising that French electric duo Zombie Zombie have recorded their first film soundtrack. But the movie "Bloody Beans" is not a horror flick, but rather an exploration of the Algerian War of Independence through the eyes of children. One half of the band, Cosmic Neman, joins Jade Barker in the studio to explain how they got involved in the project.

Also on the show, we take a look at the latest album releases, including new tunes from “Elbow” and “Metronomy”. Plus, you may recognise his voice but you might not know his face. We meet the man behind the hit songs “Wake Me Up” and “I Need a Dollar”, as Aloe Blacc releases his own solo album.
