Far from its laid-back image of football and salsa, Brazil has become a danger zone for journalists. With five reporters killed in 2013, Reporters without Borders says the country is South America's deadliest workplace. None of those crimes have been solved, and the situation is getting worse. Four more journalists have been murdered in just the past three months, one in an execution-style hit in front of his home. All of them were killed for speaking out about corruption.
