Eric Fassin, sociologist

After the historic result of the French far-right in the European elections, some experts say it's only a matter of time before Marine Le Pen's National Front gets into power. Eric Fassin is one of those who believe it's inevitable and he partly blames the Socialist party for that. He urges President François Hollande to conduct "real left-wing policies". Eric Fassin is a sociologist and professor of political science at the Sorbonne university.
