South Africa Votes: First Elections for 'Born Free' Generation

A few months ago, the planet mourned the passing of Nelson Mandela. He narrowly missed witnessing this Wednesday's South African general election, the first to include voters who never experienced Apartheid. The so-called "Born Free" generation casting their ballots is a milestone in many ways. But what are the new challenges faced by a nation that was recently overtaken by Nigeria as the continent's largest economy? What kind of politics await tomorrow's South Africa?
