Bastille Day celebrations: François Hollande sticks to his guns

Hours after he was booed at the traditional Bastille Day parade in Paris, François Hollande begged his fellow countrymen to trust him during a live interview and urged them to be proud of their country. He made no new announcements but said he would pursue his reforms to cut the deficits, bring down labour costs and eventually lower taxes.
